The Tranquil Resort, a plantation hideaway is situated in Wayanad, Kerala, India. The resort is set on a 162 hectare coffee and spice plantation, which is 5 kilometers from the Wayanad Heritage Museum and 7 kilometers from the Edakkal Caves.
This resort offers its guests five different types of accommodation, of which the Serenetree Tree Villa and the Tranquilitree Tree House is the one to look out for.
The Serenetree Tree Villa of the Tranquil Resort, relaxes you with the serene view of the coffee plantation, from its large veranda. The Tree Villa has a large bedroom with a Queen Size bed, two day beds and two bathrooms. These Tree Villas can easily accommodate a family of four and is also child friendly (for 3 years and above). These rooms are adequately lighted and are properly ventilated with insect screens on all openings. The approach to the tree house is from an inclined walkway with railings, making it elder friendly.
The Tranquilitree Tree house also provides a mesmerizing view of the coffee plantations. This rustic yet luxurious Tree House rests at a height of 45 feet from the ground, on a Gul Mohar Tree. The 572 square feet measuring structure consists of a bedroom with king sized bed, a relaxing balcony (overlooking a north facing valley) and a modern bathroom. These rooms are adequately lighted and are properly ventilated with insect screens on all openings. Due to safety reasons, children below the age of 8 are not allowed.
