Located in the lush green forests of Wayanad, Kerala, Vythiri Tree House, which is a part of Vythiri Resorts, Wayanad, Kerala, India, is a natural getaway for all naturalists. This 150 acre property is set along a forest clad hill and also includes natural water springs.
The stirring melody of the Malabar Whistling Thrush brings the forest alive from the rise of the sun. This continues on with the bands of foraging monkeys, whistling insects and chirping birds which begin their lively songs. The day clocks on with the cheerful activities of the tropical birds, colorful butterflies and the chatter of cicadas, fulfilling the tempting lure of the jungle.
Set above the lush green canopy of the Rain Forests of Kerala are the five tree houses, including one exclusively child friendly tree house. The old-world thatch roofs and bamboo walls built by members of aboriginal tribes bring in the rustic charm.
The Vythiri Resort's Tree Houses cater to all domestic comforts and are designed to utilize the natural spring water that flows down from the surrounding hills. Solar energy is used as a power source. Due to certain logistical constraints, only a limited amount of baggage will be allowed to be carried on to the tree house with the guests.
In case of an emergency, this light luggage will let you move faster to a safer spot. Guests would be allowed to transfer personal items that are absolutely essential for the duration of the stay into a small bag to take with you. The rest of the luggage would be kept safe at the reception and would be handed over on checking out from the tree house.
