A down-to-earth retreat, Techno Green is set amidst enchanting, lush green tea gardens, dotted with silver oaks entwined with pepper vines, long stretches of coffee bushes, swaying areca nut trees in the distance and the numerous other trees of the tropics. Far from the madding crowd, you can take a walk through the estate's winding paths…......uphill and downhill.... and perhaps see a peacock dance, a rabbit scurry past and monkeys climb trees. Awaken to the sound of the chirping birds and go to bed while myriads of fire-flies keep guard outside. Truly an environment filled with nature's own bounty!.

Techno Green is dedicated to the memory of Sri P.B. Kurup, the founder of Techno Chemical Industries Ltd; Calicut, who was an enthusiastic pioneer in the field of biotechnology from the thirties to the eighties.....an era when biotechnology was yet to take off. The people behind Techno Green are the directors of Sumangalamcarp Estate (P) Ltd; Chuliyode, Sultan's Battery, Wayanad - Mr. V. Surendran, a marine engineer by profession and his wife Mrs. Lakshmi Surendran. With this homestay project this team is foraying into a totally new area, but they bring with them the old world charm of hospitality and a sense of dedication to whatever they undertake

Cuisine
Traditional simple Kerala cuisine will be served as per order. The dine-out balcony overlooks the tea gardens, truly the perfect environment to unwind.
Campfires & Barbecues
Campfires with barbecues can be arranged on the estate premises on request.
Nature Walks
The guests are free to go on nature walks inside the estate. And if they have the penchant for it, they can join in the tea-plucking that goes on daily or the coffee-picking during the season.

Ample parking area for your vehicles.
Picnics
Wayanad is a tourist’s paradise. The place has many trekking spots, tourist spots, places of religious interest etc. Tours to nearby places of interest can be arranged if required.

The homestay comprises of two self-contained cottages & two bedrooms atop the estate bungalow. The cottages have a bedroom & a drawing room each. All the bedrooms have double occupancy. Extra beds can be provided on request. The rooms, with attached bathrooms, have all modern amenities like 24 hour hot water, clean linen and cable television
